We are proud to partner with the following organizations to provide services and programs for older adults in Schoolcraft County.
A few of our programs receive funding from the Older Americans Act through the Michigan Office of Services to the Aging and UPCAP.
We provide a housekeeping service that assists seniors with maintaining the cleanliness in their home.
With the help of volunteer drivers, we provide long distance transportation rides for medical appointments.
We provide a friendly reassurance phone call program for those who require daily check-ins.
Who We Are
From our humble begins in 1967 on the corner of Cedar and Main to our current location, the Manistique Senior Center has been trusted by older adults as a safe space to join together for services and activities over the decades.
Did you know the Manistique Senior Center has a Medical Loan Closet? We have numerous medical items available.
Our Services
We have been a trusted resource for seniors in our community since 1967, and we continue to uphold the same level of support for older adults in the area.
We provide as many speakers and educational seminars that are of interest to seniors.
This service provides seniors with information as to what source can best help with answering their questions.
The Manistique Senior Center can be rented for private use such as baby showers, birthday parties, group meetings, etc.
If you have forms that need to be filled out and you need some assistance, make an appointment and we will help!
Did you know you can receive a refund on your property taxes and/or a credit on your home heating costs? We can help you.
We provide a monthly newsletter full of a calendar of events, recipes, helpful hints, and all things happening at the center.

We would like to thank the Girl Scout Troop 5088 for providing a delicious and free taco dinner this past Wednesday at the Senior Center.
